Residential Snow Service Terms

For all one-time bookings + non-membership clients

Snow depth affects pricing.

Quoted totals cover the first 3 inches of snow. For deeper snow, each additional 3-inch layer will be billed at your property's size rate.

Weather conditions may change the scope.

Wet, heavy snow, ice buildup, wind drifts, or packed tire ruts may require additional labor (+$10–$25 depending on the condition).

Accessibility impacts service.

Prices may adjust if:

  • Cars block the driveway
  • Trash cans or obstacles limit access
  • Gates or fences are frozen shut
  • Driveway is steep or iced
  • Surfaces require hand-shoveling for safety

Snowfall continuing during service counts as additional depth.

If snow keeps accumulating during the visit, each extra 3 inches is billed at your property rate.

We may decline unsafe situations.

We cannot operate equipment on dangerously steep, icy, or blocked surfaces.

Emergency Snow Response Terms

For storms, urgent situations, driveway block-ins, medical needs, etc.

Emergency rates apply for all same-day or call-now dispatches.

This includes an Emergency Dispatch Fee of $20–$40 depending on weather severity.

Service windows cannot be guaranteed.

Road conditions, safety, storm intensity, and city plowing schedules may delay arrival or require multiple passes.

Conditions may increase service time or price.

Adjustments may apply for:

  • Heavy wet snow
  • Thick ice under snow
  • Packed tire ruts
  • Wind drifts
  • Sloped/iced driveways
  • Gravel/dirt surfaces
  • Blocked paths or vehicles

Typical adjustments: +$10–$40 depending on complexity.

Storms beyond 3 inches follow the additional 3-inch pricing for your property size.

New snowfall after the storm ends counts as a separate event.

Commercial Liability & Access Terms

For all commercial snow removal services

Commercial clients agree to provide safe and timely access to all contracted areas. Vehicles, deliveries, construction equipment, or employee traffic that block plow paths may result in partial service or additional charges.

Tinsley's Moving & Snow Services is not responsible for snow or ice accumulation occurring after service completion, nor for any re-freezing caused by weather conditions outside our control.
